Note about Plain Text Files

The plain text versions have been generated from .docx versions produced by Stephen McGibbon from the dbnl versions. The plain text versions were originally without page numbers but I have been adding page numbers in {curly brackets} as I have been reading it, from my paper copy. Also, where the original has italics, words are runtogetherlikethis. Where I have discovered that, I have tried to split them up and place "/". I will keep up the job of adding page numbers as I go. Sometimes in Volume IV, lines from its two columns are mixed together. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
